Walt Disney Suite bedroom does the 2 twin bedroom convert to bigger bed?

I had a question regarding the layout of the Walt Disney Suite. I made a huge assumption and am now concerned. Is the room with two twins in the second bedroom able to become one queen? We are traveling with family and I was thinking that we would have one family on one side and us on the other. Looking at plans it appears the master suite has a queen bed/bathroom that looks like the bathroom in the cat 3 and the connected entertainment room section has a pull down queen. I thought this would be great for the kids to sleep. I would prefer not to have to go thru a room to get thru the other bedroom for the adults.

We went with the cat 1 for space and to have 2 separate bedroom areas since there is also a toddler involved.

I will be staying in the Walt Disney Suite this October...but I stayed in the Roy O Disney Suite this last October. The master bedroom has a queen bed in it. The adjacent room has a pull down queen as well. The second bedroom has 2 twins on floor and 2 twin pull down bunks over head. The master bathroom is WAY bigger than any others! Even jacuzzi tub and full shower...it was awesome!! As far as the 2 twins on the floor, I am not sure that they move..??? Besides in the Roy Suite there was a desk and chair in between them. Concierge will, I'm sure, do what they can to help you out. We have always found them to be wonderfully helpful. Just make sure you ask for what you want. Squeaky wheel gets oiled!!

If I didn't answer something fully, just pm me and I'll do what I can.

Hugs,

We've been in the Roy twice, and I agree with the above poster. I don't think that the 2 twins will push together.

You guys will have to flip for the master bed/bath as it's MUCH larger and nicer than the other room!

Also, the doors between the master and the sitting room are 'frosted' if I remember correctly...

"Yes you can, we did it on the 10/29/04 Magic cruise. The stateroom host need some convincing to do it, but once my husband started showing the stateroom host how the center part of the dresser could be removed and the item broken into to night stands, he then helped my husband move the 2 twin beds together. He didn't change the sheets that night, but the next day he put on Queen sheets and a bedspread. We also had our kids sleeping in the beds that dropped out of the celling. No problems at all. We took before and after pictures of the room...we haven't downloaded them to the PC yet, but if you want a copy send me a PM and I'll try to get them out to you this weekend.

Hope this helps! :)

How far in advance and with whom do you book the suites. Everytime I look at the Disney Cruise sight the only cat's listed are 4 and higher? :confused3 :confused3

You won't find the suites listed on the website. You have to call for them and they go months to years in advance!

Thank you budwmn for that thread! I need to go contact Lynne! Also thank you RonnieJo and cotomom for the insight. Let's hope that it doesn't come to flipping a coin, especially since we are paying for the bulk. They have a larger family though...
