I loved the original Epcot and the edutainment aspect of the rides. World of Motion, Universe of Energy, Horizons, etc in Future World and rides or movies showing the culture of the countries in World Showcase like Maelstrom. I don't care about having IP or even thrill rides in Epcot and miss what it once was.

You guys have listed all the ones I miss (Horizons, Test Track 1.0 and Figment 1.0 especially). have Cranium Command and Body Wars been mentioned? I will extend this to the West Coast and add Peoplemover.

How about some rides/attractions we DON'T miss? I can't think of any in WDW. In DL/DCA I would put Rocket Rods and Superstar Limo on that list. Good riddance to both.

Things we miss:

I miss the Streetmosphere at HS. Also the Hunchback Show (with Matt the Juggler as the preshow), that was our favorite show. Also Sounds Dangerous and I think it was called Superstar TV where people were picked to act out famous scenes from tv shows?

At Epcot, the World Showcase Players and the Tapestry of Nations parade, Illuminations (haven’t see Luminous yet - hoping it’s better than Harmonious, which we hated) and Serveur Amusant in France. As a fan of the California version of Soarin’, I’m happy it’s back for awhile - I much prefer it (and yes, I have seen it recently, it’s not just a nostalgic memory). I do miss Maelstrom but Frozen is fine, I get why they did it. Oh, and the animation classes but at least we can still do that at AK.

MK - obviously Spectromagic or even Main Street Electric parade. PUSH the trashcan. Wishes was good, but HEA is better (hated Enchantment).

AK - Jammin‘ Jungle parade and we actually liked Rivers of Light, so that. So glad that the bird show dropped the Up! character plot line, it’s so much better without it.

We really enjoyed the Comedy Warehouse at PI back in the day.

In general, while we still find decent food in the restaurants, over the years they have all been dumbed down, especially in the World Showcase. We haven’t eaten at Chefs de France in years because there’s nothing all that French about it!

I hadn't thought about disliked attractions, but maybe that's a spinoff. For me, I saw Captain EO twice and that was enough. I thought it was dumb.

Best part of that show was the pre-show they played in the queue - of did they do that in FL? Young George Lucas was amazing to see.

So you don't believe that the answer to all interstellar conflicts is through finger clicks and smooth dance moves?
I beg to differ - see if you can spot the places where they used gratuitous 3D effects.

I mean, I can shake my tush with the best of em, but that’s another story.

I don't miss Ellen's Energy Adventure. Hated being dragged on that one because it was so long, uncomfortable, and boring.

But it was Ellen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bill Nye, and Alex Trebek (and Einstein!) - you can't get a better cast than that.

The nostalgic ride that I miss the most is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - however I am not sure they should actually bring it back. There are issues with that type of ride system and it's not that exciting anyway othr than being on the Nautilus. Honestly, I would prefer they just use the Tokyo version of the ride (no water) or even just the walkthrough at Paris. I love 20K and would love to see some representatin back at WDW though!
I just caught that one on my first visit in 1990. To be honest, I wasn't overly impressed after waiting over an hour in the heat to see some bubbles and plastic fish on sticks.

I Love EO! And I love that video - it's nice to be able to see a decent copy of it.

It was the all time best nap spot on property. You could lay across the bench and take a 45 minute nap, using your backpack as a pillow.
Not when my 10 family members were also taking up space on the bench. American Adventure is better for a snooze.

I am still a bit sad they took Primeval Whirl out. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they actually replaced it with something decent, but there's nothing there.

So am I the only one who was actually awake on Ellen as I liked the show? I always slept on Hall of Presidents. They just ramble on and on...
