On Turkey Lake Road, which is very close to you, is a K-Mart where I usually stock up on beer, cokes, snacks etc.

Try Walmart.com I found a few of the Supercenters listed. There is one on Kirkman Road in Orlando and one on South John Young Parkway.
The store finder will help with directions if you know your starting point.
We used the Supercenter last year. Found it by accident but it worked out great!! We bought food and everything we forgot at great prices and did it all in one trip!http://www.walmart.com

There's a super Wal Mart way out on 192, at about mile 7. I felt like I was driving forever, and I have a 40 mile daily commute. I guess when someone says it's a couple of miles down the road, in Florida terms that's 10 miles. Except for the last trip, I made the run over there after putting the kids to bed the first night while DH would chill with them

Liked that location because I could pick up whatever I forgot that I would need from the store, then do a small grocery shopping.

This past trip, we tried the new Winn Dixie. Loved the store, but the selection of yogurt was not great. We bring a refrigerated cooler, and my kids would live on yogurt and cheese if we'd let them, but it has to be specific brands! That was about a mile up the road from the Crossroads shopping center. Cheap, too.

Hi Everyone
Im from Liverpool in England and am going to WDW on the 30th Nov for 14 nights to a villa on the 192 , now ive been to a walmart on my last visit which was at (what I would call) the far end of the 192 from the I17 DAVENPORT LAKES , so my question is ,is there a walmart closer.

Regards
Kev

P.S
I love your hospitality. see you soon.

The one on John Young is huge.... I stayed at the intersection of Sandlake & Unifversal Blvd. back in August.

The one on John Young is the closest.

But you will spend at least an hour if not two there.. It is huge, and hard to get around. Yes, we saved money, but we DID NOT save time. The cashiers were slow, and it took a long time.

From that long time, we opted to go to Goodings and get quicker things there.

We just got back from orlando on Monday and I will say that going to Walmart is definately a must. I got Disney 2002 t-shirts for $5.94 each. They did have higher priced ones as well but my kids wanted the 2002 shirts. They did have a nice selection of designs to chose from and that really was a savings from park prices. Also too if you are one who drinks Pepsi products be sure to stock up at walmart. It will be a lot cheaper than convenience stores and you can not get Pepsi products on Disney grounds. Also when I was there it was a little crowded but the check out lanes moved fast and I was in and out in about 45 minutes and did take some time to look around. It may just depend on what time of the day you go and we went in the evening.

Paula,
I found Coke and Pepsi to be less expensive at 7-11 and the Hess gas station.

We are staying at the Contemporary Resort - which Wal*Mart would be the easiest and closest if we are getting our own transfers from MCO?

Thanks for your help.
