Walmart/ Target thread

I'm from Canada, and planning on hitting Target when we go to Disney...so I thought I would try to print coupons to maybe save a few dollars...but from what I'm reading Target does not take internet printed coupons...is this true at all targets....it would be really great if I could do this...since I won't beable to get the coupons any other way!

I'm subbing. I work at Walmart. We've not been picky (or at least I wasn't) about coupons. Not even that many people use them here, and if they do...it's usually sparingly. I remember once people were trying to use those high $$ formula coupons past date and I was warned to watch for them, but that was about it...

I don't do a ton of grocery shopping at Walmart (they don't double coupons). But I like to get my toiletries there (good deals + coupons that won't double anyway + discount!!). Target I used to love, but haven't been to forever...I went last weekend and got about $40 of stuff for $13. I got 4 bags of cat food, kitty treats, glade plug ins, glade plug in warmer, a couple of cleaners. I think that was it...hmmm.

There are a lot of other forums that have things like this... I just recently went on them.. I went to Walmart today and got $74 worth of stuff for under $20 ( a lot of free items).. Went to Target and got a lot of free things too.I think we should start one on here... The coupons usually let you get free things. I see a CVS thread.. why not start a new weekly thread for Walmart and Target seperate from that one?

On Wednesday, I got all this at WalMart for $18.25 (and we have 9.75% tax)

I used: (3) $1/1 Kotex, (11) $2/1 Schick disposable razors, FREE Cascade RinseAgent Q, (2) $5/1 Iams dog/cat food, (2) FREE Wrigleys, $5 IP Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser, unfortunately I didn't have any coupons for the food products.

I have a question about the $5 Iams coupons. The only $5 coupons I have are for kitten and puppy food. Are those the one you used? And how much were the bags of food? TIA!

The Q's were $5/1 any one Iams. The cost was I think $4.87 each were 2 lb bags.

I am not trying tpom cheat anyone.. I just feel that being a stay at home means my job (on top of the 100 million other things) is to save money as much as possible. With the economy- you would think people, ESPECIALLY WALMART would get this! I just hope I never get a cashier who refuses my coupons..

Some Targets will take them. Just ask at the service desk when you go in. Seems some cashiers were letting customers use multiple coupons on one item, which you aren't suppose to do unless it is a Target coupon combined with a manufacturer coupon.

Niether my Toys R Us or Target will take the internet printed coupons. But both will let you combine a store coupon with a manufactor coupon.
My WalMart will though and I think CVS and Winn Dixie. I am going to those tomorrow.

I think that depends on your store. Mine still take them. I don't hve CVS or WD.

Don't forget that Wal-mart will price match their competitor's ads. I don't think they will match buy one (or two or three) get one frees, but if the ad quotes a price per item, then they will match.

I take all the grocery ads I get each week to WalMart and ad match them there. Sometimes WalMart is already cheaper!
Our local stores are doing alot of "Buy 10-mix and match items" really good buys- WalMart matches this also.

Just an fyi Publix will accept any competetors (sp?) coupons, so you can use those target and walmart coupons there too.
