When I was there they had single serve shells and cheese by Kraft for .98, not a great deal compared to the boxed one, but if you only need 1 serving it was neat. They also had colgate toothpaste for $1.00, and 4 pack cans of pepsi prdducts for $1.00

Just found this site, my daughter works at Walmart, she still lives at home so I take her shopping with me when I go and she uses her discount card, it has been the best when money is really tight.

She also purchases the All You magazine, lots of coupons in there, save more than the cost of the magazine.

I am always looking for a good price on food and household items. Glad I found this site.

I stumbled across a bunch of stuff on clearance in the office supply aisle and picked up a few other clearanced goodies. I'll have to go back and pick up some of the giant packs of generic pens ar $0.25 for my son's school office. I couldn't think of who might need some so I didn't get any today.

Our store did not have any "accessory kits" for the Didj, but they did have the Didj cases for $5. That's not a bad deal. I bought 3 to go w/ my 3 $10 Didj's I bought a month or so ago. My nieces are going to be so excited to recieve their gifts this year!

The Walmart Beef Stroganoff mix is just like Hamburger Helper brand, but is much cheaper. It tastes great with canned Tuna instead of beef, too. It's under two dollars for a box and a can of tuna.

If you ever use alkaline AA batteries, Walmart carries rechargable NiMH batteries at the lowest price I've seen. The Rayovac brand has had the best performance, long recharge life and long energy life. Energizer NiMH are good too, but watch out for the others that don't list the storage rating, such as 2450AH, because they are much worse.

The NiMH stands for Nickel Metal Hydride, which is a newer, better, and safer chemistry than the older Nickel Cadmium batteries, that contain hazardous heavy metals that should not be disposed of in regular trash. NiMH last much longer than NiCd. They might seem expensive at about $10 per 4pack, but they can replace hundreds of alkaline and work better too. They can also be recharged much more quickly if you get a 15 minute recharger. Don't worry if the batteries get hot when used in a quick charger, that's normal.

My Walmart also had a rubbery looking sleeve you could put on the diji on clearance for $3 or $5. I think the cases were somewhere between $5 ans $10. Sorry to not be more exact, but DS is to young and DD is to old for the Diji, so I didn't pay to much attention to them, just remeber seeing them.

So I was out working today and passed a Walmart (not my usual one) and they had tents up in the parking lot that said 'Savings Aisle', so of course I had to stop . They had all types of video games on clearance (picked up Disney sing it w/ mic for Xbox 360 for $20 ) but they also had some Diji games on clearance (I know one was Foster's Home for Imaginary...). They had some stuff on clearance in the store too (I know I saw another Diji game, but I cant remember what it was now). While I was in the store they came over the PA system and said the stuff in the tents were 55% or more off.

There were some good finds in the tents (lots of PS2 &3) games, some XB360 and wii (Disney sing it w/ mic for the wii was $30~since we have both systems I went with the cheaper of the two)games, Leapster games, diji games, some of the Crayola color explosions ($3~I picked up a HM and a Star Wars~hopefully they will provide some entertainment on the 6 hr. plane ride ). They had kid craft packs for $1-$2.50, some clothes, furniture, photoalbums/scrappingbooking, gallons of paint and board games (there was a HM game for $4 maybe mall madness, was to busy looking at the Disney Scene it ).

My Wal-Mart had some spray fans on clearance for $1!!
They are the larger kind that come in blue, lime, and a pinkish color. They have foam blades and a strap. My store had a lot of them, and they were in the aisle with fans, the clearance aisle, and over by the sunscreen.
