Walmart Savings Thread

I found Cheese Nips 2 for $2.00 today. I also bought a ton of the Kraft Salad Dressings.

2 Cheese Nips $2.00
17 Kraft Dressings 26.86

Total: $28.86
Less coupons $25.50
Total OOP: $3.36

Inquiring minds want to know........what are you going to do with 17 dressings? :rolleyes1

I went to my local Wal Mart Supercenter the other day, like Wednesday, I think. And They had $1 or less Aisle. They had put together packs of Kool-Aid, 5 in pack, for $0.88. Small savings of 12 cents compared to buying them singly. The had boxes of snack cakes for a $1. The had the fun size candy (Snickers, Milky Way, ect), jars of spaghetti sauce, Hunt's Ketchup and French's mustard. And a bunch more things. It's on that aisle in the grocery section where they usually put their seasonal candy. Then was walking around the refrigerated cases and they had a $1 or less aisle there. There was bologne, hot dogs, Yoplait yougurt, string cheese ( 4 for a $1), among other things. I was sooooooo happy when I saw this.

Maggimus, you are very talented. You need to start a thread calling "Couponing like Maggimus" and take us step by step on how you do this. :goodvibes

I went shopping today after not going for 2 weeks  and knowing the next two weeks are going to be very busy too  and spent over $200. Almost everything I bought I either had a coupon or was on sale. I get all smug thinking I did really well but then i come here and see how well you did and realize I need to learn some more. :sad2:

I agree! I'd certainly subscribe to that! I try so hard to coupon & save. Sometimes I'll get in such a hurry that I just quickly buy what we need w/ almost no coupons at all. :confused3 Then I have buyers remorse & get upset w/ myself for not taking the time to save $$$ w/ coupons & sales ads. :guilty:

Honestly I wish someone would bump this thread a little more. I forget it is even here a lot. Ill start trying to add more deals-- I forget to add them after I shop and them BOOM- I forgot what i got and what the deals were. If we can keep this thread more in-sight then ill promise to contribute a lot more to it. ;)

Yaaaa!!! Thank you, thank you!! Maybe someone could even start a "Baby Savings Thread?" (LOL---I'm volunteering you gals for more work!) :rotfl: My sis is expecting her 1st baby in Sept & they can use all the financial advice they can get. (DBiL is a marine about to go on his 2nd tour to Iraq.) I would LOVE to teach them how to save on diapers & "all things baby"

:flower3: Thank you, Maggimus & everyone who helps us couponing wannabes. (Is that a word? Anyway, thanks!!) :goodvibes

I am due in September as well. :goodvibes

Right now as far as baby savings-- (and I know this is the wrong thread so please excuse me) on the target.com website under "grocery coupons" at the bottom of the homepage, there is a coupon for .75cents off of Target Bodywash. It is said that this coupon works for the baby wash as well... which would make the Target brand Babywash .39cents each. That is a pretty good buy;)

Also, if you still have the $1 off any bandaid product, apparently there are spongebob and batman bandaids marked down to $1 or less (different walmarts, different pricing)-- but all in all, they are free.

In the $1 section at Walmart- they have a 4-pack of Angel Soft Tissue. I didn't personally get the coupon, but there is one out there (I think 4/19 Red Plum or SmartSource) for .50cents off 4pack or larger, making the deal 4-pack Angel Soft Toilet Tissue for .50cents

CONGRATS on another September baby!!!! :flower: And, thanks for the tips. :goodvibes

The Purell coupon that she posted in the Target thread is great for diaper bags. I always have some for when you change the baby and don't always have a sink near by to wash your hands. Also good for toddler hands after touching shopping carts.

I stocked UP on those when I got them free. I have entire bag full of them. I know ill be passing them around like crazy (diaper bags and at home). Ahh-- now to the target thread-- just got back from shopping.

if someone did make a baby savings thread, I'd like a link to it please. My husband & I are TTC our first - I'll take all the savings I can get so I hopefully won't have to work as much. :lovestruc

WONDERFUL! I am a germ-freak & my DH says we should've bought stock in Purell b/c I buy so much! :rotfl2: I'm headed to the Target thread NOW (& then Target TOMORROW!!!!!) :lovestruc

The trial and travel aisle has hand sanitizer in orange, blueberry or melon for just $0.78. I figure it's perfect for the kids to have on hand...

Yesterday saw an entire end cap display of Pez dispensers. They had Tink and several of the individual fairies.

Cute for your little Disney Fairy folks. And remember Pez dispensers are refillable.

:tinker:

Wow, did I get some good deals at WalMart today!:woohoo: I found 2 boys t-shirts with graphics on the front for $1 each. Then in the men's department I found low rise boot cut jeans for $1 each!! I bought 2 for myself and one for DH. Then when I got to the checkout, I had a package of Rye Crisp crackers that should have been $2.13, but they rang up for $.50!! A successful shopping trip IMO!!

Hi,
Our WalMart has the "everything for $1 or less" aisle while there is no holiday instead of having it empty. I went in for a few things to stock the pantry and here's what I ended up getting for a deal.

3 Pillsbury brownies - $3 - coupons of $2.25 = .75
3 Crystal Light Lemonade mixes - $8.94 - $2.98 (one free) - .75 = $5.21
Knorr (Lipton) rice and noodles are rollback for .98 = 6 for $5.88
Jennie-O Turkey roast $2/6
Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls - $6.21 - $1.50 coupons =$4.71
Hillshire Honey Ham marked down $1.25 less $1 = .25
Lloyd's BBQ meat for sandwiches $3.98 less $1 = $2.98

All for $25.78. :woohoo:

I went to 2 local grocery stores for their meat sales and saw the same rice/noodles were $1.98 each, the turkey roasts were $5.98 each, and the Lloyd's bbq were $6.98. I was so happy to have saved that much over a regular grocery store! Milk was also $1.98 at WalMart and $3.68 at the other chains.

Any good deals in the $1 aisle lately? I haven't had a chance to go see what we have yet..... :(
