WalMart? KMart

Hi! can any of you cruise experts tell me which is closer to the Port and how to get there? Wanted to buy some bottle of water and other snacks for cruise. Don't want to lug it all from NY.

Also, IF we decide to get off in Nassau... that's actually DH's b-day so not sure... is there any shop that would be considered a
"Do not miss"?

i don't know where any stores are, but regarding bottled water....
i'm not sure if you need it...
the water on the ship is very good....and on deck nine at the 24 hour coffee bar, water and ice are also available....
my daughter is a bottled water only drinker...and she's very very very fussy about what water she drinks (she can actually tell from the taste which one she's drinking....we've tested her)....
she was quite happy with the ship water on deck 9 and the ice there...
for that matter, there is sooooo much food on the ship, snacks aren't necessary either....unless you can't live without your reeses pieces or something like that...

There is a Target, Drugstores, Dollar store, groceries stores all within an arms reach coming in from Orlando - if you are driving it is about 40 miles East on HWY 538 in Merritt Island, which is about 3 miles before getting to the port - you get off #528 onto North Courteny Parkway and head south - you go about one mile and there you are - you return to hwy 528 the same way and head to the port - you can get your water, your snacks and anything else you might feel you need - sometimes even tho there is a lot of food on the ship, to have it right there in the room, is a nice idea - you don't have to go out of your way for it -

If you're looking for a Wal-Mart/K-Mart -type store, head for the Target on Merritt Island. As Shirley said, it's on Courtney Parkway, but the exit off of 528 only says SR-3. There's also a Publix grocery store near the Target, and there's another one even closer to 528 if you don't need to go to the Target.
