Walmart ipad mini deal...what ended up happening...

I wondered if you all were told anything specifically about the $100.00 Walmart gift card? Of course the IPM were out of stock but guaranteed for delivery before Christmas. I just realized that no where on the receipt does it mention the $100.00 card.

That is my concern too!!!! I guess we will see, or I will return it. That was part of the reason I was buying it.

When I registered online, it mentioned the gift card coming by email when item shipped.
I hope this is the case, or I will return my as well.

Walked in at 5 got wristband. Went back about 6:15 stood in line, told people with wristbands had to go to a different side so I had to work my way back through the crowds. Picked up the last one. They miss counted and handed out more wristbands than iPads. My walmart was horribly unorganized. Ran out of guarantees for the tvs and told people they couldn't do anything about it. Put the pallet of beats out at 6, so they only had 7 when they went on sale. People were furious. some had been waiting 2 hours.

Got there at about 5:30 and got one of the last wristbands. Joined the already long line, but at 6:00, the gift card offer wasn't working on the register, so there was a loooong delay. When it finally got going, the line was still moving slow because there was only ONE register that anyone getting the iPad had to check out at! Finally was able to pay at 8:00!

Great idea - poor execution. Met some fun people in line, and luckily left the kids at home, so it wasn't too terrible. LOVE my new iPad mini!
