Walmart Electronics question...

Ok, my son has now scraped up enough of his money for a Gameboy SP...

However some of that is a GC for Walmart he got from his aunt for his birthday..

I rarely go to Walmart (Target is much much closer) and I don't know what they sell. Now there is special bundles that have games included... do they do that at Walmart..

(For example Target had one with either a carrying case (one week) and a Cartoon Network Free game (another week)

Why don't you check on-line?

We bought a computer on-line from them. (Had to return it. They gave us no hassle at all.)

He wants to do the whole process.. of picking it out and paying for it.. and also don't want to put anymore on the credit card via online!

I know my walmarts do have Game packs but what it is I'm not sure. IF you look online and see what site says that should give you idea of what local one would have.

Good luck with the search and keep us posted please. I am shopping for a blue SP as well for 14yo SS. I did look at the game packs, which would be a good deal if you liked the games included, but I know he probably wouldn't like them so I'm just looking for the barebones unit.

I saw the Blue ones at Target...a while ago.. (what can I say I LOVE target!)

Thanks for the heads up! Target is an hour away but I'll have to go check it out. It is right in between Old Navy and Christmas Tree Shop so it would be worth the trip.

Target an hour away.. I couldn't stand it!

There is one about 5 minutes away, (an older store) and two newer stores about 10-15 minutes away (in neighboring towns on both borders of my town!)

I used to live about an hour from Walmart..

Heads up about shopping Walmart.com - selection is not always the same as in-store. I would think Walmart would sell Gameboy SP packages as well as Target, especially for the holidays.
