Walmart Disney Valentine's Day Candy Sale!

Just got back from Walmart! They had Disney conversation hearts for $.50 (3 boxes in the package). They also had a few of the lollipops that someone mentioned before... they had the red/white striped mickey lollipop, and another mickey overalls lollipop with a few hearts on it (so cute!) for $.50 each. Finally, they had boxes of crunchy chocolates that had pink wrappers with Mickey and Minnie on them... also $.50.

Hope this helps people! They would make some good favors or welcome bag stuffers and at a great price! I'm off to another Walmart!

very jealous that we dont have a walmart in the UK as i want some of those hehe.

And i wish we could get the strawberried peanut butter m&m's over here......i love them too!

My walmart didn't have the Mikcye Head suckers on sale. They were still $1.00.

Did they ring up $1? I could only find a few at my Walmart, but they rang up at $.50.

Also, I hit a ton of Walgreens... they had marshmallow pops - they had a mickey head that had a pink front with mickey and minnie on it. They also had marshmallow mickey and minnies that said "love" across the bottom. Finally (I found these very exciting)... they had Mickey and Minnie cookies!!! I hit up like 4 Walgreens on my way home... all the cashiers looked at me like I was nuts.

My Wal-mart must have done really well with Valentine's Day sales - they had almost nothing left! Literally just one small little area, almost no candy. Oh well!

I found that the Walmarts were slim pickins - esp. for those lollipops! I hit the jackpot at Walgreens though (I think I went to about 10 of them today). I got a ton of cookies and some of the marshmallow pops. I also found children's activity books - Cars, Toy Story, Princesses, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - they were only $.25 and will give my nieces and nephews something to do during the reception! I also found a few Mickey/Minnie Valentine's sticker books to give to my flower girls. A few of the stickers say "Happy Valentine's Day", but they never seem to care what their stickers say! They love to craft!

Yep, they rang up $1.00. I asked the cashier if they were on sale like the rest of the valentine candy and she called the section manager who said they were not on sale. Needless to say there are still a ton of the two different style suckers. I'm hoping they will go on sale. It is so frustrating that they are on sale at other Walmarts and not mine.

The holiday things (i.e. candy) goes on sale at midnight and you would be surprised at the people that are there and buy it all out. Generally by 10am the next morning it is completely picked over. So if you are planning on doing a candy buffet and want to get holiday candy when it is on sale...go at midnight.
