Ok, I am only semi-computer literate. I had some photos loaded to a disk at Walmart and I wanted to upload them to walmart.com so I could place an order and crop them like I like them...excpet I can not figure it out. I called the store and the lady, who apparently had never even seen a computer said "All I know is that people do it all of the time...you just go to Walmart.com" I need more specific instrucitons. On the website there is a like for if you had your photos developed there, you can use your claim ticket. I did not get one and when I told her that, she said that "I guess the roll Id is the envelop # and the claim # would be the store #" but she did not know her store #....anyway, can anyone understand my frusturation?

Do you have the photos on your computer? Did you get a CDROM with the photos on it?

I checked the walmart website and you have to pay $1.96 when you have your film developed in order to have it uploaded to the website. If you didn't select that option, then that's probably why you don't have a claim number.

If you have a CD with your pictures (also an extra cost option), you will can upload the pictures to walmart's photo website. The directions to do that are on the website. You can just click on photos and drag them into the appropriate window, click continue, and they will be copied to walmarts website.

Once they are uploaded, you can use the edit tools on the website to crop the images to the appropriate print size and then have them printed at your local walmart. One hour later, you drive to walmart, pay for your photos, and take them home.

You probably have some photo images on your PC, so you can test drive the program (up to the part of ordering) until you feel comfortable with using the website to print your photos.

Good luck and happy printing.

Thanks for the quick replies....I found a ## on the web site and called them. Let me say that is a bit complex for the first time and the directions are not very clear. Once I did it the first time, I will now become a pro and will go back and buy more space so I can make that my new hobby:)
Thanks again!!!

If anyone needs help, I can 'talk' them through it.

Glad to hear that things worked out for you and that you are now the expert here on the DIS boards. I will refer any questions about WalMart's photo service to you. :rotfl:

Tag - You're it. :rolleyes1
