Walkway to TTC from Poly

We are booked at the Polynesian Villas for an October stay. While looking at the map, it looks like it is closer to walk to the TTC than the lobby to get the monorail. While searching to see if this is true, I've seen older posts saying the walkway is closed. Does anyone know is this is still true?

The walkway is open and it is the closest way. You can get on the express there or the ferry. You can also get on the resort or Epcot monorail.

The only time I stayed at the Poly was in the building that is now Tokelau. It was an easy walk to the TTC.

From our studio room at the end of Pago Pago - 1125, we were about 3 minutes' walk from the TTC. It was MUCH closer to walk there to grab a monorail or boat than the Poly's own monorail station.

Great to hear! This made my night! It's always been my dream to stay at the Polynesian, so I was shocked to see availability when we went to book!
I know construction is still going on so to know the walk walk is open makes me happy!

Stayed at Tokeleau. Found it faster to walk to monorail at GCH if going to MK. But, we went to Epcot three nights out of 5 and walked to the TTC.
