I know that this walkway was closed while the Poly Tower was being built, but has it reopened? It was a pretty walk, going past the Wedding Pavillion. Or has the Poly Tower done away with the walkway permanently?

Yes it is open right out front of the Island tower all the way to MK.

Yes, it's been open for a few months now. Beautiful walk!

I have a question to add to this.. I’m planning to get my kids to nap in the stroller on the walk from MK to the Poly, and hopefully have them sleep thru part of dinner so Hubby and I can eat in peace :) Is there any reason I wouldn’t be able to walk with the kids in stroller from MK to Wailulu? (Ie bumpy, route to get to restaurant not suitable for strollers, etc) thank you!

It’s easily doable with a stroller assuming you don’t mind the distance. Only real “challenge” can be weather - eg, if it’s full sun you can kind of cook a bit on the MK to GF portion. Or if there’s pending rain and you just happen to get caught mid-walk when it starts. But otherwise I do that walk a lot and really enjoy it.

No real reason other than the distance. It's about 1.25 miles and there isn't really any shade along the route.
