Walking to/from DS to Beach Club

Disney Studios, maybe?

If that's what you meant, then yes, you can walk to BC. From MGM, head to the left as you exit the park and you'll find the walking path that follows the canal up to Boardwalk. Continue on past the Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin, and Yacht Club, till you get to the Beach Club.

I'd figure about 20 minutes, at a fairly brisk pace.

You can also catch a boat. Personally, I'd rather do that, and save my feet for walking in the parks. :)

Disney Studios? Yes, you can walk and it takes about 20 minutes, depending on how fast you want to walk.

Yes, DS is Disney Studios.

20 minutes - so it's about a mile.....in the heat of August.
The boat sounds nice. We wouldn't have to return to the car, move the car and re-park at the Studios whe we go to dinner.

If it's in the evening, it's not so bad. The boat won't be much different timewise, and can be stifling even when it's cooler out (I don't ride it often, but I did in December due to a hurt ankle and it was VERY warm in there even though it was cool outside).

We have 7pm ADR's for the Clam Bake. I was planning to leave the Studios around 6pm and heading back to the park for EMH after dinner. I think this was part of the reason I chose the Clam Bake and DS the same night, proximity.

DS..The walk is nice. The boats are way slower but you could probably get there in about 1 hr without too much trouble using the boats. Depending on how long you have to wait it could be close.

The boats should take around the same time once on them. The boats do go a bit faster than walking, but make stops along the way.

I really enjoy the walk - I've done it hundreds of times.

There isn't a bus from the Y&B to MGM or Epcot because of the close proximity. You either walk or take the boat. We didn't walk to MGM at all. It just seemed like too much walking that we would be doing on top of all the parks.

Oh, okay. It's our arrival day, so I don't think walking will be much of an issue at that time. :thanks:
