From which DTD resorts can you easily walk to DTD, with a 4 year old?

Any of them would be a good walk with a lot of traffic. We just stayed at the Royal Plaza and out front they have a complimentary taxi guy, all you do is tip him. Worked out great.

I think it depends on how much walking you consider too much.
All the hotels have sidewalks that run alongside the road to DTD.
I would say the longest time would be ten minutes.
Hilton, Buena Vista Palace are the closest, being directly across the street.

Hilton is 5 minutes, Grosvenor is right across the street too. I would definitely bring a stroller though, still alot of walking inside Downtown, especially for a little one. And its easy to get separated inside the huge Disney store, the stroller will help with that too.

there is a map here.

Wyndham Palace is Buena Vista Palace these days - it is across from SSR Saragota Springs Resort - the new DVC resort

Grosvenor and Hilton are both across from DD.

on the traffic light here is strange. it require all the traffic to stop completely (not even right turns) - before it lets the pedestrian cross the road. so be patience - it is for your safety....
