Walking Times - Santa Fe Hotel

Hi everyone

We're almost at SDD time, woo hoo!

I have a question re how long it takes to walk places. If I were to walk from Cafe Mickey to the Santa Fe approximately how long would that take?

Also, can anyone recommend the best block at the Santa Fe to stay in? Also are they good at giving you room requests i.e. ground floor? When should I ring them to request this? It will be hard to take a pushchair up 2-3 flights of stairs.

Also is 7.30am too late to avoid a scrum at breakfast or should we be ok? We're going midweek so i'm hoping crowds won't be too bad

It's approx 10 mins from Cafe Mickey to the Santa Fe.

They have lifts in all the blocks so you can use that for the pushchair.

7.30 would avoid the scrum for breakfast, it starts to get busy by 8am.

i was there midweek in october. ten minutes would get you from cafe mickey to santa fe. i stayed in block 58 and we liked it there. not all the blocks have a lift. ours didnt. but there were only two floors. we had an upstairs room but didnt mind. i would ring beforehand to put in a request. when i was there, there was a large queue for breakfast by half seven. but i think the hotel was fully booked then.

Do they not all have lifts??? Sorry...I thought they did as the two different blocks that we have stayed in both had lifts.

yeah thats right the bigger ones do but the ones with only two floors dont, thats where i stayed.
