Walking Sandal?

I adore my fitflops, but am lusting after a pair of birkenstock gizehs. I've seen really good reviews of orthaheel and merrell, too.

I had Teva Tirra Metallics in black. They were great for several hours, but I still found I had to rotate shoes (1/2 day one 1/2 another). I often reverted back to my running shoes for the majority of the trip.

Chaco sandals are the best! We went to REI, an outdoor gear store, and asked them what they recommend. The employee said to just look around and see what all the employees were wearing. Almost all of them had Chaco sandals on. I wore them at Disney last August everyday for two weeks with no problems.

I also have a pair of Teva Tirra sandals. I like those as well, but they fall behind the Chacos for me.

It is tough to find both cute and comfy! Birkenstock are cool again and Nordstrom carries cute color options. They take awhile to break in. I agree that Chaco feels great, but they aren't cute. I have some dressier leather keens that I have worn to WDW. Bottom line, most of my walking sandals are only worn when I have to do a lot of walking when comfort trumps style!

I rotate between Teva Tirras and Keen Whisper for parks. I got cute colors so at least I feel a little better :).

Keens (used to wear these all the time), Vionic Orthaheel and/or Sketcher Go Walk Flip Flops are now my go to flip flops when I don't want to wear sneakers. LOVE them and they are cute :)

Sanuk yoga soles. Lots of cute styles and tons of colors. Just bought a new pair for this trip. Got attached while at Universal about MIB, and they had the flip flops in the store. I tossed the painful soggy shoes I was wearing and put those on and wore them for two years.

I like my Rocket Dogs. But in general I find the cloth thong to be very important. Plastic thong parts can cause rash/blisters.

I haven't tried them yet, but did some research and decided for my specific foot needs to try Orthofeet Naples. I ordered them and am waiting for them to arrive. I can come back and let you know what I think once I get them :)

If I'm not wearing a sneaker for a day at Disney (or local amusement park, zoo, etc.), then Clarks are my favourite go-to.

Bernie Mevs. I don't wear anything else at Disney anymore. I can go from open to close without my feet being tired at the end of the day. There are multiple styles and colors. I typically wear the Comfi (open toe), Cindy (more of a sandal) or Cuddly (closed toe that I wear for fall and winter trips) in the parks. Aside from how comfortable they are in the parks, I'm not exactly sporty, so I'm a fan of a fact that I can get them in a nice sparkly silver. When we were at DL a couple of weeks ago, DD and I had lots of CMs and even other park guests comment on them and ask where we got them (they have kids sizes, but DD (9) is wearing small women's sizes now). Some other brands, like Skechers, are starting to make knock offs of them now, but I have tried those and some of the other brands on, and they are not nearly as comfortable.

Another vote for Teva. I love mine and this will be our third trip with them. I will wear my sneakers in the AM and change into my Tevas for the PM when it is more likely to rain. This way my feel dry quickly and they are great to walk for hours.

I usually rotate between Olukai flip flops (the basic style has great support, you can get them on Amazon) and Birkenstock Gizehs (they need a little bit of breaking in time). I have Tevas and Keens too, I use them if I want a break from the Olukais or Birks.
