I'm pretty sure we've done this, but can someone confirm you can actually walk along the boardwalk that goes from Tom Sawyer boats all the way to the riverboat dock? And if so, is this a decent route during parades to avoid street traffic? Although I'm sure if it is everyone else not wanting to stop for the parade is using it too! We will need to head to our FP+ at BTMRR from 7DMT right before or possibly during the 3 pm parade. I can't change the BTMRR because 7DMT FP+ are gone and, well you know how it affects the rest of the schedule!

We always use this walkway when going from Haunted Mansion area to Splash Mt. Yes, we have avoided crowds and parades by using this walkway. Part of the walkway was under construction last August when we were there but unless they are redoing all of it, it will be repaired by now.

Yes! This is exactly the route I am referring to and exactly what I was hoping to hear. Thank you!

:thumbsup2 We actually use this mainly for the 'shade' it provides. We go in August and it gives us a bit of reprieve from the sun! Have fun :)

That's actually why the route was built, to allow guests to bypass parade-watchers.
