Walking in at T-REX?

We had lunch reservations for TREX for the date of our departure, but we couldn't get a later flight so I had to cancel. I was hoping to go there another day for lunch instead, but they are all booked. What are the chances that we could walk in around lunchtime and get a table? I was thinking about getting there right at 11:00 when they open.

The Downtown Disney restaurants do sometimes hold onto some of their tables for walk-ups, so you probably have a better chance than if you were trying to walk-up to an in-park venue.

You can also try calling the restaurant directly to see if they have any ADRs available. (This is the last phone number I found for them through a Google search: 407 828 8739.)

Both T-REX and RFC at DTD accept walk ins.

Also, get the Landry's card and you get priority seating.

We've have walked in at T-Rex with no problems. The first time we had a resi for dinner and had gotten in earlier than expected (we drive) and didn't want to wait a few hours for dinner ( we were tired and thought we would head to bed early after a long overnight drive) so asked if they had anything available then to switch our resi and they had no problems and got us right in. Another time we didn't have a reservation but my girls wanted to go and we thought we would try (if not quick service would be a fine alternative at Earl of Sandwich) and we were able to get in with no wait. Definitely ask! We love T-Rex. The Wooly Mammoth Chicken is sooo good, and my DH loves the burgers.

Call them directly and make your reservation that way. Every single time I have ever looked on the Disney dining site for availability for T-Rex there is never ANYTHING. But I call and get my exact date and time by calling them. The number a PP posted is the right number for them.

If you join Landry's select club for $25 they give you back a $25 credit on your member card and you get seated faster as a member. You also get a $25 credit during your birthday month but it has to be used by the 2nd week of the month after your birthday.

I have never had ressies for T-Rex or RFC. I have always been able to walk up to them, even during busy times and get a table. I've had to wait an hour or longer, but I've never been turned away.

Two years ago we had a resi at T-Rex but arrived at Downtown Disney earlier than expected and were hungry after a long drive and didn't want to wait until later to eat. We asked if they had availability to switch our resi and they did w/o any trouble. Last year we didn't have a resi but the girls wanted to go and we decided to walk up and ask if they had any availability and were seated right away. Definitely check! The food and atmosphere is great!

Call the restaurant directly. My friend wanted a last minute reservation there for this week and there was nothing online. I called the restaurant and I had tons of choices for time. Definitely give it a try!

Thanks! I will give them a call. We want to go right away at 11:00 or so because we are going to MNSSHP that same night. We were hoping to have an early lunch, go back for a dip if it's nice out, and then get ready for the party.

We are planning to stop by Earl of Sandwich too and pick up sandwiches for later- yum!

Tell me more about this Landry's card... We are actually taking the trip for our kids' birthdays. All of their bdays are prior to the trip... 8 weeks, 4 weeks, and 2 weeks prior to our trip. We were going to advantage of the free sandwich at Earl of Sandwich- something else we can do for T-Rex??

I called the restaurant and they asked if I wanted 11:00, 11:15, or 11:30.

To everyone who suggested calling direct, thank you!! I was able to get us a 6:15 dinner ressie for 4/10 when Disney was showing nothing until 9:00!
