Walking from the boardwalk

I know there is a walkway to Epcot and MGM is it easy to find and how long is the walk? Any tips.

It is the sidewalk between the canal and Luna Park pool. It is very easy to find. We stayed at the BC last year on the side closest to Epcot and it was less than a 20 minute walk from there. We will be at the BWI in 10 days and we plan on using the walkway to MGM and Epcot as its much faster than the boats. But everyone in our family is very active and we love to walk.

According to Caskbill's GPS (Global Positioning System), the path from MGM to the BWV's Luna Park Pool is just under 3/4 of a mile. Check out this thread for more details, including photos:

The above thread also contains a link to a thread that describes the path from EPCOT's International Gateway entrance to the BWV lobby. It's about 1/3 of a mile.

We always walk to both EPCOT and MGM when we stay in the BW area. It's often faster than waiting for the boat. The paths are easy to find, fairly well traveled and lighted at night.
