I see that is possible to walk from Epcot (gateway) to MGM Studios.

On one day we are thinking of doing MGM and leaving to go back and end our day atEpcot.
Can someone tell me how long is this walk?
Should we park at the gateway parking lot or MGM?

It's a loooooooooong walk! You may find it's better to take the water taxi from Epcot to MGM, or MGM to Epcot. If you do decide to walk, you'll go out International Gateway (the back of Epcot, in World Showcase), walk all the way through the Boardwalk, past the Swan/Dolphin, and then down a long walkway along the river. I'm not exactly sure how far it is, but I'm thinking maybe 45 min to 1 hour, depending on how fast you walk and how distracted you get along the Boardwalk.

Heck--who has an hour to waste walking someplace when there is so much to see and do at Disney.

30 minutes tops - 15 minutes from the BW - if you are younger and can walk faster - then it take less

the boats are slower - they have many stops to make - the bw, bc/yc, d/s before it can go to Studios

you can beat it walking....

of course the boat ride is fun and a good thing to do when you are try out of your mind.

from Epcot to BW .36 miles - from BW to MGM .66 miles - so around 1.02 mile for the whole walk. kept in mind there will be more traffic on the BW at night - so this could slow you down.

What we did one day on our last trip was started out in MGM(we took the bus). Then took the boat to the BW to have lunch at ESPN. We then walked from there to Epcot. It didnt seem like a long walk at all, but I cant put an exact time on it.

I noticed in your original post that you mentioned parking at the gateway entrance to EPCOT. There is no parking lot there. EPCOT parking can be found only at the main (Futureworld) entrance to the park. The closest parking to the gateway is at the Beach Club resort.

...and you shouldn't park at the Beach Club (or any of the BW area hotels) while attending one of the parks. It takes away parking from those paying to stay there, plus most of them will only give you a three hour pass. There is public parking near the Boardwalk for use of the BW facilites, but again it's not for going to the parks.

We walk between the BW, Epcot and MGM quite often and you definitely can beat the boat with all its stops. It takes about 20-30 minutes to do the whole route and is an easy walk unless it's hot out.
