I apologize for the newbie style post but I'm writing this for my wife who is currently at the Dolphin. They are telling her that there isn't a way to walk from there to MGM but before she left she understood that you could.

Can anybody please tell me for sure how to get to MGM by walking? I need to call her back and tell her for tomorrow morning.

Thanks for your help.

She just needs to cross the bridge heading over to the Boardwalk from the Dolphin. Tell her to turn right after she crosses the bridge and follow the path along the canal - it runs the length of the BW and will take her right to the entrance of MGM - it's about a 15 - 20 min walk for us ! - she can also take the boat over or back. Maybe they are confused because the walkway actually leads to MGM from the BW, not directly from the Swan or Dolphin.

Yep! bjakmom posted the correct route.. (although I'm confused the staff at the Dolphin failed to explain this to her!). :confused3 It's such a nice walk...especially in the evening. Hope she enjoys her stay at the Dolphin. Sorry she experienced some confusion with this, (hope she returns to the person whom provided the initial info, and corrects them!). Take care, and feel free to post any more queries she may have while visiting the WDW Dolphin resort. :goodvibes

Thanks for the help. I called her and told her. Apparently the Dolphin has not been her best experience, but she finally ended up with a view of Epcot.
