Walking & Drinking

I am in the process of planning a trip for a friend of mine. Although I've been to WDW many times, I have to say she has me stumped me on this question -
Can you buy alcohol from a stand or restaurant in the parks & bring it out of the place to drink?
I don't drink alcohol so I didn't know the answer. Being from La. we can drink alcohol anywhere practically so we never know what the rules are when traveling.

I know there is no alcohol served in the Magic Kingdom. However, it's not uncommon to see people drinking beer while touring the International Showcase at Epcot.

I'm sure someone else here on the boards can give you more information. Those are the only two I'm sure of.

I know for sure you can at world showcase...I am not sure about the other parks though.
Oh pleasure island as well

I know you can bring alcohol anywhere within Pleasure Island, and I do believe you can have alcohol at DTD as well.....maybe only beer and only in a plastic cup?? Someone stop me if I'm wrong there.

You can get a drink at all of the parks except the MK.

Yes, you can walk around with them.
