I used to work in a music store and they make wedding cd's so you can hear the standard/common songs. These are all classical, but some Standard/Traditional ones are:
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
Pachelbel's Canon (aka Canon in D, I believe)
Trumpet Voluntary
Wagner's Wedding March (Here Comes The Bride)
I like, Beethoven - Piano Sonata #8 in C minor Opus 13 "Pathetique" (It was familiar and I picked up on it in Immortal Beloved and bought the soundtrack to get the name.)
I'm sure I'll think of more later....but these are the most popular from the weddings I used to sing at.
Wells ours is probably an unusual choice, its a song called Everlong by the Foo Fighters. It was played in Friends for Monicas & Chandlers wedding. The normal version is a rock version but the one for the wedding is instrumental.
It was my df choice but its pretty sweet, if any one wants to hear it log on to www.yourtube.com & type in Everlong acoustic. Bear in mind most of the videos are taken during concerts but you ll get the idea
i think i'm probably going to go with "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" the very beginning(well, except for Timon and Pumba's lovely little diddy they do in the beginning lol)
I am also using "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," I heard it on one of the videos on STVS website and loved the way it sounded (the instrumental version).
We're not getting married at WDW, but honeymooning there so...not sure if you want something specifically Disney or not. We're also not doing anything traditional - the bridesmaid and best man (we're only having one attendant each) are going to walk in to The Beatles "Something" and then my Dad and I will walk in to Billy Joel's "She's Got a Way", and we'll be walking back down the aisle (after ceremony) to Queen's "My Best Friend".
I think So This is Love or any of those great Disney love songs would work too - Someday my Prince Will Come, Baby Mine might work as well.
