Walking distance from Doubletree to DD

How long does it take to walk to the Doubletree from Downtown Disney? We'll be renting a car there.

dunno but we will be too! (i think i read somewhere it's about 5-15 minute walk...but, anxious to see if anyone really knows!)

It's one REAAALLLY long block, with Doubletree on one end and DD on the other. Considering the amount of walking you do in the parks in a day, this would be a drop in the bucket!
