Walking Between Royal Pacific and Cabana Bay?

Looking at Google Maps it looks like a short and easy walk. Has anyone done this walk? We will be walking with luggage in tow. Just wondering how easy it will be.

Skip the path and walk past Tchoup Chop and then make a right down the access road.

Check with the desk before you go. Ask if your room key will open the gate at Cabana Bay. My husband and I walked with luggage in January only to find a locked gate. Luckily someone from CB was also there and let us in. Enjoy your trip. We will be at RPR tomorrow. Can't wait!!!

If you stay to the left of that gate and walk down along the parking lot, you'll get to the hotel main entrance and there are no gates. That gate that you ran into leads to the main pool.

We followed the route the desk told us to follow. Out the front doors and to the left, then followed signs to CB, if memory serves me this early in the AM. It was a path along the roadway. It was a nice walk but probably not the correct one to take for this instance. The gate entered CB at the far end of the courtyard rooms.

Yup. If you go left before it enters at the far end of the courtyard rooms, it takes you along another sidewalk that runs between the parking lot and the courtyard rooms. Following that path takes you to the main entrance of the hotel. You did take the correct path, they just should have told you to turn left and head towards the main hotel entrance instead of heading straight into the pool/courtyard entrance once you actually reached the hotel.
