I currently have ressies at POFQ (which I love!), but the pictures of CSR intrigue me... ;) If I stayed in the Ranchos section, how long would it take me to walk to the restaurant/food court/lounge area? Are the walkways well-lit at night?

Thank you! :earsgirl:

If I remember correctly, the Racheros are the furthest area from the food court, with the exception of some of the cabanas. I would estimate the walk to be about 7-10+ minutes. The area is not brightly lit at night, but is still acceptable, and feels safe with all the other people around. The path you would use is wide concrete, so you wouldn't have to worry aboutt tripping over anything. I loved the POFQ because of the size and the theme. I just didn't get into the CSR--it felt too big, although it is a beautiful resort.

I loved the CSR. At the time I went, I wanted to take time to walk around the resort, and to just enjoy the resort and what it had to offer. The walk to and from the main building at night is beautiful. There are colored lights that reflect off the lake. The walk around the lake is spectacular. It was one of our favorite things to do on that trip. We explored all the sections of the resort. I would estimate the walk at a little over five minutes, but I was with a toddler who had to explore every rock and ant on the path. We weren't ever in a hurry, so these walks were a relaxing and enjoyable part of our day. We had a nice room, and enjoyed the food and the pool at CSR. I have never before thought of myself as one who liked anything southwestern, but I would definitely stay at this resort again.
