Once you get into the TIME/DIST alert, the TIME alert is already highlighted. Just push the Enter button and a little menu comes up, arrow up or down to hightlight OFF, then hit the enter key again. Then arrow down to the DISTANCE alert and do the same thing. Hit Enter, the small menu pops up, arrow to hightlight OFF and then hit Enter again. To get out and back to the main window just keep hitting the MODE button.

Have a great time at WDW!!

Tracy, you're a lifesaver! I sat here, right in front of my laptop, and followed your directions and it says off! Thanks so much for your help! I'm ready to check it out later today. First, we have to pack and move over to BCV.

:wizard: Happy be-lated birthday:flower3:

I had a good workout yesterday...first I walked alittle over 8 miles and I really enjoyed being outside in the fresh air, then I went to my Tues. night belly dancing class, which was an hour. So my total w/out time was 3.5 hours yesterday. Yea!:dance3:

What do you say we have a Thanksgiving walk, via the computer? We could have the walk on Thursday (Thanksgiving), or the Friday after and we can decide on a 10k, half marathon..whatever, but we all walk on that given day.
We would have to set up a time limit...16 min. mile, then record our times here. What do you say, anyone game?:rolleyes1

Hey Monte - we actually plan on doing a 5K Turkey Trot that Thurs morning.

Monte: I'm up for a 5k or 10k on Thanksgiving. Thursdays are training days anyway. Let's do it everyone!!!:cool1:

Dave, Happy Late Birthday. I had no idea yesterday was the BIG day!!! Hope you had a wonderful day and even a BETTER year!!

I have been able to get some training in even with work trying to get in the way. I have put in almost 15 miles of walking this week (plus some biking). But even better news would be is that I can tell that my wrist is getting better so hopefully soon, I will be able to start lifting at the gym again. That is my sanctuary. It is my stress release. It's about the only one I have and right now, I don't have it. I really wish I could hit the weights again but I don't want to hurt myself anymore than I already have so I will be patient.

Hope all of you walkers are having a fantastic week!!

Bryan:cheer2:

Bryan: Glad to hear your wrist is feeling better. I also agree with being patient and do a bit at a time to test it out. Good luck. Also, great getting your miles in even though work is getting in the way of your training. (I just hate that!)

Tracy

Monte: I can't join you guys for the Turkey day event........i'l be getting plenty of workout in the kitchen!

Hey all walkers!! Good afternoon!!

I did a 4 miler this morning.

Warmed up walking about 3 minutes. Did my 4 miles with neg splits!!!
Finished with a 5 min cool down walk and then stretching for about 5 min.

Felt pretty good today.
Not sure what I will do tomorrow. My Half training plan says 6 miles, but I did 8 last week. I may do 10 or 8 again.

(I still will look down from time to time as I am heading out in the AM and check out my shadow. I sure do like how my shadow looks! I kinda giggle to myself.)

Take care everyone and good training!!

Tracy, do I see that you are taking a page out of my book and doing everything right also. Looks like you have all the right stuff there.

I did some pool sprints today then stretching. Easy day for me.

That's cool that you are loving your new look. There is a saying that to truely love others you must also love yourself. Go Tracy!!!!:yay:

   It's 5:15AM and I'm ready to walk out the door for RFTT. Wahoo, now let's hope I can finish after my Party last night. :lmao: Have a great day WISHers.

Thanks Cheering Panda, :yay: I finished!:thumbsup2 My Garmin said 6.3 miles in 74 minutes. Official time was a tad slower, so I think I'll believe my Garmie.:lmao: Great fun, saw several WISHers and got to visit for a few minutes. I'm still new enough that I have trouble putting names with faces, but it was great to see them anyway.
Off now for a celebartion lunch with friends.

YEAH Sharon!! Glad you did well at the RFTT - go have a great lunch, you deserve it!! Geat job!!:cool1:

Hopefully I'll see you when I get there!

Okay TEAM wish me luck for my half marathon, this Sunday (19th), in Denver, CO.:cool1: :thumbsup2

SamSam: congrats on your awesome time....you rock, girl!

Monte: Good luck with your race this weekend....go WISH!

:cutie: Ok, I'm back. My time was 3hrs/24mins, which isn't too bad, but my best timing has been 3hrs/21mins., so I was 3 minutes off. Still I'm happy with it and my friend and I had a great time. This was my first "city" race and I was quite pleased with the course which went through Downtown Denver and I really enjoyed looking at all the old buildings and homes. They had a nice exhibit area, after the race, with alot of merchandise half off and alot of freebies. The Disney folks were at the expo and I saw the medal that you get when you do both WDW & DL races, (in the same year), and man is that sweet! It has Walt and Mickey on it. I told my DH Iam soooooo doing that in 2013 when I do the WDW full again. Love that medal!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the good wishes TEAM.:hippie:

Hi guys, I'm saying good bye or a while since it's almost time to flee south. I hope to see a bunch of y'all.

Everyone have a super week.
