I called buena vista for the go go elite 9 days was told $258.80
Walker for the same was $170

This is a bigger difference in price than I expected.....I know BV is a vendor at disney, other than that is there any reason I shouldn't go with walker?

Thanks!!!

Either are very reputable.
The big difference is that since Buena Vista is a 'WDW Featured Provider', they can deliver and pick up from Bell Sevices without you bring present. Some people like that because they can get it right away when they arrive and just leave it when they are ready yo leave.

With Walker, you will need to arrange to meet them for delivery and pick up. Some people appreciate being able to talk to the person dropping it off and get an overview of how it operates.

Over the course of your 9 day rental, that is $9.86/day more, if it helps to put things in a different perspective.

Lots of folks I know spend more than that per day at Starbucks. Other people I know would say that if they saved that amount every day, year round, they could have a nice extra trip to WDW.

Both are fine, reputable companies as Sue said. :)

One difference could be insurance cost. One may include insurance and the other one doesn't.

There are different models of the go go scooters. One is more heavy duty and would cost more.

If neither are the case then call back Buena Vista and see if they will match the price if that is the vendor you want to use. You don't have much to lose.

I've used Walker with terrific results. I would not hesitate to use them again.

A nay vote here on Walker. Admittedly, it was 3 years ago, but had not one, but two scooters die on our trip, the last one completely ruined MNSSHP when the support person didn't understand simple Disney landmarks such as "Hall of Presidents" and I was forced to abandon the scooter until it was recovered 3 days later. Dealing with the Walker office was a royal pain. :headache:

I'm truly shocked that you had a problem with Walker Mobility customer service. One of the reasons I use them is their terrific customer service, and I've been renting from them since 2007 or so. I did have a problem with one scooter, but they rectified it quickly and without any difficulty. The batteries are always long lasting, and their scooters can withstand rain, a claim no one else makes. I can't help but feel like yours was an isolated incident, and most all the folks on here have had a wonderful experience using Walker. I am sorry that you had problems, though!
