Walk ups at Le Cellier and Ohana

Thank you all for the opinions. I think we're just going to play it all by ear and then maybe just maybe we'll get in. I did get an ADR for O'hana on the night we get in but it's not until 9:30pm. I'm hoping it doesn't take forever to get from the airport to the resort to check in for our Keys to the World passes. If so we'll just call and cancel the reservation.

Does anyone know if you can see Wishes from O'hana?

We were just at Disney 2/13-2/21. We saw 2 walkups turned away at leCellier. At O'Hanas they took the walk up but said it would be awhile. Don't know when they were seated.

And yes you can see Wishes from O'Hanas as long as you are by a window or near it.

In January of 2009 we had spent the entire day at Epcot, and it rained the entire day. At about 6:00pm we said "forget it", and headed back to the hotel food court. My sister and her family of 4 walked up to LeCellier, and were able to be seated right away without an ADR. They figure there must have been a lot of no-shows that day because of the weather.

This question always makes me recall one May trip waiting in front of Le Cellier when a couple came up and asked when would be the soonest time they could get in to eat and the person at the podium replied "August."

Keep trying for a reservation. Try after you get there. Ask your resort lobby concierge to check for openings.

:rotfl2: That's a good one! LeCellier is the only place we were at last week that we saw no open tables at any point during our meal.

Annual passholder here, who makes 5 to 7 trips every year and always does the dining plan.

Have never been able to get a reservation EVER at Le'Cellier. Have tried walking up every visit for the last three years, and haven't had any luck ever.

Have walked in at O'hana 5 of the last 6 trips. usually have to wait 45 min to an hour, and we try fairly early in the evening.

Have been able to walk in just about everywhere BUT LeCellier.

We were waiting to be seated for our ADR at LeCellier in June and a family approached the podium and asked if they could be seated. The woman said, "Sorry, the next opening we have is....September:eek:" The man kept was so upset...he kept yelling at the woman "The guide book says reservations are recommended...NOT required!".

We were at Le Cellier last Wednesday for lunch and two parties who were walk ins were seated at the same time we were. However, walk ins at Sci Fi on Thursday were being told there was an hour wait for a table and we got to observe a woman throw an absolute hissy fit about it. :lmao:

We're headed to DW for a quick trip in April and just booked with the DDP. What are our chances, just DH and I, of walking up to LeCellier or O'hana and getting a table?

We were there over march break a couple years ago and we got a walk up to Le Cellier. It was at dinner time and my wife walked up and asked and we got a table right away it was awesome (my mother also tried and she was turned down like 10 minutes before)
