Walk up Success

Hi,

I'm heading to Disney on Friday and cannot get a reservation for a character breakfast all weekend long. A friend of mine said she walks up and gets in quite a bit at restaurants, even when she was unable to get a ressie and they are a family of 6.

I'm shooting to go to Cape May either day and was planning on going right at 7:30a and hoping someone wouldn't show for their ressie and I could get in.

Based on your experiences, what are my chances of getting in?

You should keep trying for an ADR. Walk-ups during free dining are few & far between. Cape May is outside the parks, so if it's not too far for you to go, then you can certainly try for a walk-up.

The thing is, I believe Disney knows a certain percentage of ADR's won't show up, so they overbook in order to keep the restaurants full.

Thanks for the suggestion of keep checking. I actually got a ressie at 1900 Park Fare for Sunday morning. I was hoping for Cape May but think 1900 will be great too.
