Bonjour!

On sera à DLP le 4 juillet et j'ai complètement oublié d'arranger une réservation pour chez Remy. C'est quoi la chance que je pouvais faire une réservation quand j'arrive?

Hello!
We will be at DLP on 4 July and I completely forgot to arrange a reservation for Chez Remy. What are my chances that I can make a reservation when I arrive?

(Oui, je parle français et anglais.)

Cheers!

I would stalk the app, you never know.

Je vous souhaite bonne chance!

How did it go? My daughter and I inquired with the hostess at 2:30 pm on a Monday in June and were seated right away.

Comment ça s'est passé ? Ma fille et moi nous sommes renseignés auprès de l'hôtesse à 14 h 30 un lundi de juin et nous nous sommes assis tout de suite.

I had tried to get a reservation at Walt's for 2 months before our trip with no luck. I walked up on our first day and asked about a reservation for our last day and was given numerous times to choose from. For every dining reservation we had, the restaurants were not even 1/2 full so definitely worth trying to walk up.

For my current trip, on the morning of our first day I could get several options for lunch at Walts for the same day. For the Auberge I went by Guest Relations during EMH. They asked me to return at park opening, then they could make a call. I gave them as options lunch or dinner on our first day, lunch on our second day.

She came back with the option for lunch on our second day.

Lunch at the Auberge was good. Quality was definitely above average. 6 characters, Suzy, Perla, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora and Merida. Cinderella and Ariel could speak Spanish, Aurora and Merida a few words of Spanish (there were so many Spanish people in the parks these two days), Merida is a Dutch native I had met before, she was perfectly in character and a lot of fun.
Main issue was we were not at a convenient table and the princesses kept missing our table. It took 2 hours before we had seen all. There seemed to be a mix up, and we almost had 3 princesses at our table at once :p Aurora decided to leave our side of the restaurant, but by turning back, she had go on another break first and we didn't see her till her 3rd set.
Our waiter, while very friendly and great, he didn't speak a lot of English. And as my friend spoke French, he preferred to speak French with her. I speak enough French to understand what he was saying, but it was for the first time in a long time I came across a CM with poor English skills. He normally worked at Walt's but the Auberge was understaffed. So maybe if he was more comfortable with the surroundings he would have the patience to speak English.
