I've checked and checked and checked and checked........you get the point -- I'm sure TONS of you are doing this with one restaurant if you didn't get all your ressies done sooner!!!! :) I will continue to check/call until the day we get there, but is there any way -- has anyone tried -- that we'd be lucky enough to get a walk-up breakfast at CP?

Even with ADR's we have had to wait to be seated but it never hurts to try, you never know when someone may not show for an ADR.

The earlier you can get there, the better - meaning before park opening. More often than not, you don't need to show proof of an existing reservation to get in for early dining.

Showing up near the *end* of the breakfast hours may also offer possibilities, especially at a less-busy time of year.

im not sure your dates but i was having a problem getting an ADR here too but early sunday monday i checked and managed to snag 10/15 @10:05 - not my idea of a great time but better than nothing --- keep checking you might just get some pixie dust too.

Two days before Memorial day--and I would expect it to crazy with the bookings--there were servers from CP walking around people waiting for rope drop and asking them if they wanted an early breakfast at CP.

That should have been a busy time.

Looking at the crowds it should have been busy.

It wasn't.

I still kick myself that we didn't go in.

Twice.....

Once was in 1997...family of 3...on a rainy day, we got a walk up...

The other time was in 2005...family had grown to 5...just happened to check and they told us they would squish us in...in an hour....we were fine with that....

We have been lucky and gotten ressies every other time we wanted...

I was just able to change my ADR from 10/15 @ 10:05 to 10/12 @ 8:05
so just keep trying

Thanks for the advice! We have an 11:30 lunch that day but really wanted to do breakfast instead! :( So, we will get to eat at CP no matter what, just really wanted an earlier time! :) I think we may try to walk up. Worst they can say is no, right? :) And, I plan on calling/checking online all the way down there! We have about a 14-hour drive non-stop! :(

When are you going???? I have a CP breakfast ressie for 9:10 am on 10/30 that I will be cancelling. I kept checking EVERYDAY, multiple times a day to get the beloved before park opening ressie at 8:05am LAST NIGHT. Persistence pays off.

1) Going to be tough.
2) It is very popular.
3) Breakfast starts at 8:05am.
4) So, you can't get there earlier than 1-hr after mealtime starts.
5) By this time, there are lines already outside of the door awaiting access.

We're wanting it for Oct. 2, Saturday. We have an 11:30 lunch but really want breakfast. Long story short, when I made all our ressies, I thought we wouldn't be there in time for breakfast so opted for lunch and now am regretting that decision. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if we could get a breakfast that day! :)

More often than not, one can enter through the "dining reservations" gates without having to show proof of an existing reservation.

Possible chance to be seated if entering as close to 8am as possible.
