In nov, we will be staying at WL and doing MK mornings. If I book chef mickeys for lunch and want to minimize walking/avoid busses, does this make sense:

Spend morning at MK
Monorail to contemporary for lunch
Boat back to WL from contemporary

Or is it just as far to catch the monorail in MK as it would be to walk to contemporary? I was thinking that arriving by monorail would be like another 'attraction' for the kids. Not sure how many stops on the monorail.

It is not a long walking distance, but it is kind of neat to arrive via monorail into the actual building, so I think your "attraction" view of it might be the way to go. Have fun!

Have a great trip!

I would normally say walk if it's a nice day. The monorail is certainly fewer steps, but often is a bit slower because you may have to wait a few min. But if it's your first time visiting the contemporary with your kids, the monorail is a nifty way to arrive.

I'd walk for The Wave, but take the Monorail for Chef Mickeys. Honestly, it's such a close decision that the different floor makes a difference.

Walk, if it's a nice day - not broiling, or freezing, otherwise the monorail - that's our take anyway! :)

If it's not to hot out.. then walk.. otherwise enjoy the a/c and take the monorail.
