Quick question...My family is heading down for a trip to Disneyland in late October and we were thinking of doing the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour while we were there. We read part of the tour includes a ride on two attractions, one of which (I've read several times) is It's A Small World. Currently, IASW is slated to be closed the day we arrive for refurbishment, probably for the Christmas season. Does anyone know if this means that attraction will be off limits to tour guests as well and they'll bump it to another ride?

We're on the fence about the tour only because we've done a bunch before and really a big deciding factor would be whether or not this be the only way we can actually get on IASW while we're down there.

If It's a Small World is closed, then the tour won't be able to go on it either. They will be doing the Christmas makeover, and the ride won't be in any condition to ride.

We did this tour in May. IASW was up and running on our tour day, but our group did not ride it. There will be something else featured.

With that being said, if your deciding factor is IASW, I wouldn't have done it, regardless. No rides are guaranteed. Even if up & running.

They don't guarantee exactly which rides the tour will go on.

Just a friendly reminder--you can book at the 30 day mark and this tour sells out very quickly. Once you make up your mind---book it!
