walk in to WCC and 1900 PF?

I have been trying for over a month to get ADR's for dinner for our trip 9/19-9/26 for dinner at 1900 Park Fare and Whispering Canyion Cafe, and can't
What are the chances we could wlk in without waiting? (I dont want to pack up DD5 DD3 DD0 and DH and head to WL or GF if the chances are slim)...?

During free dining, that's a tough call. However, I will tell you that we went to Whispering Canyon last September (during free dining) for a late lunch (around 1:30 p.m.) and it was a ghost town. We were probably only one of about 6 other tables. The service was a bit shotty, the antics were missing, but the food was good. Maybe something to consider? Good luck!

If there are no ADRs available that means the restaurants are fully booked. There is always the off chance that someone will not show up, but it really is a slim chance. If you're willing to devote the time and possibly not get in then give it a try. I'd have a back-up plan in place though.

For WCC especially have you tried off-peak times. Perhaps a late lunch? You could have a more filling breakfast that day or a late-morning snack to tide you over and then have something small later in the evening. We've done that and it works out great.

I just plugged your dates into the online system and it showed availability for 4:45 on Sunday, 9/20; 2:00pm on Monday, 9/21 and at 1:30pm on Wednesday, 9/23. Maybe one of those will work?

June 2008 we had an ADR at WCC for 8:00pm. We arrived at about 7:40 or 7:45. We were seated at 9:20pm. I wouldn't even think about trying to get in there for dinner without an ADR! Actually, after eating there, I wouldn't think about going there for dinner at all, but that's just my opinion! Good luck in your quest!

Agreed. We were there last September and had a 5:30 ADR and we were not seated until 6:05 or 6:10. They were sending people away while we waited.

I agree with trying to get a lunch. Even if you do get lunch but would prefer dinner you can keep checking to see if a dinner reservation comes available. They change all the time.
