Arriving to Disney tomorrow and staying at the Boardwalk. We really wanted to go to The Wave for dinner but I've called and called and there are no reservations available! Do you think we would be able to walk-in around 6pm? Should I take a chance?

I've heard/read that there are a lot of no shows for ADRs so it can't hurt to try. Just have a back-up plan.

i can pretty much guarantee you can walk right in with lots of room to spare

If you're going to try a walk-up, this place is a good bet. If you try before the dinner rush (before 6 pm) I think you'll have better luck, though.

I don't know why The Wave is not more popular than it is. It is GREAT!

AS CR fans, we wanted to love this place. We tried it our last trip in August for breakfast and the food was excellent but the service was so slow. And it had nothing to do with crowds as we were the first party to arrive, only three of us with straightforward selections and only two other parties in the restaurant for much of the time we were there. Our server was friendly but she would disappear for long stretches. I would definitely try it again if I had nowhere I wanted to be.

Me too! While it's not a well known restaurant for a lot of people, a lot of others use The Wave as a back up plan. i.e. just in case I'm hungry and need some place a little bit better to eat.

This wasn't for dinner but recently we were looking at the menu on the side wall around the host asked if we wanted to be seated? Now this was during the lunch service and it was obvious that if we wanted to eat there we could have just walked right in, however we had plans and said no thank you.

Thanks for the update! Hope you're having a great time. pixiedust:
