Hey! :wave2:

Just wanted to know if any WDW restaurants let you just walk in to eat without an ADR and if so how long would the wait be?? I know i'm going to WDW in april but not sure of the days yet so i can't make an ADR to any restaurants.... what's the latest you can book a restaurant (like 50's prime time cafe for example or other more low profile restaurants)???

April = VERY BUSY at WDW...There are a few disney restaurants that don't take reservations. Like Espn Club on the BW and Beaches and Cream at BC resort,Rainforest cafe at DTD.Most take ressies and you really need to make them. DIsney does not hold back any tables for people to walk up.They book all the tables. You may be able to walk up( someone elses no show or cancellation) BUT it is definitely not a gurantee and depends on..the time of year, how many in your party, how popular the restaurant is, and if they have any openings anywhere.Something like 50's prime time cafe...really does book fast and is very popular. Most of the theme parks restaurants and character venues are booked months in advance. You are going in April which is an extremely busy time at WDW and I wouldn't count on any walk ups.You can call disney dining 90 days before your arrival date for reservations.I would call asap.

I was recently at WDW, during what some may call a "slow" time and out of all the TS restaurants we ate at all of them turned people away if they did not have an ADR. It is really going to be hit or miss.....if you are unable to make ADRs, then you most be willing to eat anywhere/anything. If you know you want a meal at 50s Prime Time...once you nail down your dates, try to book. You can make ADRs even on the day you want to go there. During our trip we had a dinner ADR at HSB for 7:10, but we were down shopping downtown around 5:45....so I called the dinning line and asked if they had anything now...they did and we were changed to 6:05.

I would try any figure out what you are doing and make those ress asap!

Make reservations as soon as you know your dates. WDW restaurants don't hold tables and will turn you away if they're fully booked for that meal; they won't take walk-ups in that situation.

I've gone in April without making ADRs in advance. I'll never do that again. On Saturday night, by 4 PM there were NO tables available at any restaurant at Poly, GF, or CR, and nothing in the MK. And none of them were taking walkups.

You can sometimes find openings if you call same-day, in the morning. But your choices of restaurants and times will be limited.

Yes I can attest to that a couple years ago we went and all the places I wanted to eat we pretty much were not able to get into. From now on I just make dining ressies and guarantee my seating time and restaurants ahead of time
