Walk from SSR to DTD

How long is the walk from SSR to DTD? Say, from near the main pool at the resort.

main pool far.

the quiet pool at Congress park - around 10 minutes or less.

I walked from the quiet pool to AMC theatres (STAR WARS) in around 20 to 25 minutes.

From the closest building in Congress Park to DTD I clocked it at 4 minutes.

From the furthest building of the four in CP to DTD you're looking at about 15 minutes door-to-door.

From the main pool area, about 20 minutes. It's probably about the same distance as from the Boardwalk to MGM.

Note that if you're in the main pool area you can hop on any theme park bus and ride to Congress Park, then walk from there. That should take the total walking time down into the 12-15 minute range.

The walk from the main pool to the West End of DTD is probably about 15 minutes. You can exit the back of the main building, just follow the hallway that is near the magazine/book area of the SSR's gift shop and you will exit by the golf pro area, just as if you were going to the ferry dock. Follow the path away from SSR, cross the footbridge and hang a left. Keep following the path and you will arrive at DTD. If you go right after the footbridge, you will end up at OKW.

It is a nice walk to/from DTD and the path is usually deserted, at least it is whenever I go.

From the Main Pool and The Paddock is pretty far. I'd walk in in the springtime, but it's awful hot to walk that far. If the heat doesn't bother you then it shouldn't be a problem.

We didn't time our walks but they were lovely and we hope to walk to the crossroads restaurants for our next visits.

We love the location for this resort so much better than Grand Floridian (no alcohol at Magic Kingdom!!!!)

Can't believe we have to wait until October 2006 before we go back though!

Getting our Disney fix at Hotel New York Disneyland Paris (hopefully a five minute walk to the parks!
