Walk from MK to GF?

I have PS at 1900 the day we plan to be at MK.

Is it much of a walk from MK to GF? I know the monorail will take us there but in case it is down or something I need to know how long of a walk it is.

What other mode of transportation can get us there?

There is no walkway from MK to GF. Besides the monorail there is a boat that takes you from MK to GF.
