Walk from Epcot to Beaches and Cream?

I never recommend Disney water transportation to get anywhere. Their unofficial motto must be - taking 45 minutes to get you where you can walk in 10.

Also, there is a new ice cream spot on the Boardwalk called Ample Hills Creamery. It's based in NYC. Great website, amplehills.com. if you want more info. Their ice cream is amazing. Had it for the first time this year during our BWV stay

Only about a very pleasant 5 min. walk. The boat takes much longer.

Hi all! OP here! I am excited to say I scored a 3:10 reservation, exactly what I was looking for. We will rope drop Epcot so by that time we will be ready for an afternoon snack. We will walk over and then decide to either head back to Epcot or go back to the Poly via uber. Thanks for everyone's feedback again! Oh, and I hope to sample Ample Hills too!

I am not a big walker, especially when my feet hurt after a long day at Disney, so I'd lean towards the 15 minute walk as being more accurate than the 5 minute walk! Honestly... it's just ice cream. We like the food and ice cream just fine, but it's nothing I'd hike out of my way to experience. If you don't want to get a cab/Uber back to the Poly, you could take the boat over to Disney Studios and a resort bus from there. It's actually a nice "cruise!"

I think that B&C is just okay. I saw that you were able to get an ADR, and Im glad for you, but this is one of the restaurants I woudl nto go out of my way for. If I was at the BC and wanted ice cream? Maybe. Leave Epcot for it? No.

using Gogle pro paths the distance is .35 miles from the footbridge by the international gate to B&C. I didn't catch how old your little ones are so depending on how tired they are and if they want to have a boat ride you can use that time to help you/ Also we like the food at B&C and the ie cream at ample hills is over rated. We are from the Dairy State and it doesn't compare with our regular ice cream. Also the ice cream at B&C is from edys (just a store brand) but the ssudaes there are great

We ate at Beaches and Cream and stayed at the BC last July. I would say its probably a 10 minute walk since Beaches and Cream is basically between BC & YC. We thought it was good. My husband had a burger and I had the patty melt. My husband thought the burger was just a normal burger, but my Patty Melt was SOOO GOOD. Definitely recommend it! We shared the No Way Jose sundae and it was delicious!

Also - the sundaes at Beaches are a great value. I think they are $9. When you compare that to a Mickey ice cream bar - which I think is around $5 these days - it is a deal.

I second Ample Hills. We stay at The Boardwalk and it became a nightly tradition to use a snack credit on the ddp to get a different flavor each night. I am pretty sure they make their own ice cream and even some of the things in the ice cream like the mini peanut butter cups. This is my go to place for ice cream at Disney. In my opinion nothing else is close.
