Walk from ASMo to ASMu?

My family is staying at ASMu (in 15 days! ) My brother decided to meet us there, but Music was full, so he's staying at Movies. Now I'm wondering how we should meet up each day. This is our first trip, so I have no concept of how huge and spread out these resorts really are (they look so close on the map )

Anyone have a guess how far apart these two resorts really are? And are there paths/sidewalks between them? It would be easier for us to meet up before getting on the bus, so we aren't trying to find one another at the crowded entrance, but I hate to make DBro start his day with a 2-mile hike BEFORE hitting the parks.

It really depends on which part of Music you are staying at. If you are on the side of Movies, then it is a short walk. For example, in December, we were facing the parking lot closest to Sports. It would have taken me about 5 minutes to go from my room to the edge of Sports, at the most. It was just across the parking lot. I could see the resort clearly looking out the room.

My suggestion is that you put in a request for Broadway or Jazz on the Movies side and your DB put in a request for the Mighty Ducks section. Then you'd only have a parking lot between you. Also you'd be closer to the Music busses in the morning.

Thanks for the advice! We're staying in one of the family suites, so Broadway's out. But I'll definitely request Jazz, and tell DBro to request Ducks. Being close to the bus is a BIG plus, too, as DD2 and DD5 will be with us. I'm not sure how easy it will be to get a certain building, since all the value resorts are pretty full (cheerleading competition ), but at least I don't feel as clueless. Thanks!

I'd suggest calling CRO now and adding your request to your reservations. That way when they assign rooms you have a better chance of getting those rooms. If you wait until checkin with the resort being so full, your chances aren't too good. Also remember these are requests only, but they will do their best to honor it.
