Me too. They said there are a lot of support vehicles with them for the entire walk. I saw an RV but I imagine they will need a hotel to ride out the storm.I'm concerned about them with this upcoming snowstorm.
Oh no! I hope they stay indoors during the storm. I understand they live a simple life, but we don't want anything bad to happen to them. The monks do sleep outside in tents regardless of the temperature.
And I wish all in our country especially could follow their lead. It's crazy (wonderfully) to see this happening while so much unrest is happening here right now.Is anyone else following this story. It is so amazing. I am so humbled by what these Monks are doing. They are in NC now. I wish I could go see them, it is so moving.
OMG take pictures for us!I will be going to see them in DC when they arrive/finish their journey.
I was hoping to as well, originally the date was Feb 13, then I saw it moved up to the 11th, which is the day I fly home from Florida. Selfishly hoping the snowstorm slows them down a bit.I will be going to see them in DC when they arrive/finish their journey.
Well Shoot. I will be out of town on a work trip on April 11!!!!!They have been all over my Facebook page.

Yes, the accident happened at the beginning of their journey. A car hit their support vehicle, which hit one of the monks. He has his leg amputated but has shown up along the way at certain stops. He was there today, I saw a video clip on instagram of him.I heard from my relatives that the monks had safely reached D.C. I also heard that a truck hit their escort vehicle earlier in their journey, causing injuries to several monks. One of the monks had to have his leg amputated from the incident.
