Does anyone know if Walgreens has a coupon for a gift card or money off of a perscription? I need to get one filled for my hubby and would like to take advantage of any savings I can.

Not sure about walgreens, but Winn dixie if you live in the south has a free 25 dollar gas card for a transfered script.

I'm not sure about any free discount cards...
But consumer reports did a big report on getting prescription drugs, and they recommended the discount chains like Walmart and Costco for prices. Walgreens had some of the *highest* prices if you don't have insurance / drug coverage. If you do have prescription drug coverage, then they're all pretty much the same -- you just pay a co-pay.

Another way to save for recurring prescriptions is to use a mail-order place and to order 2 months at a time. A lot of insurers give you a discount if you do mail order and order in bulk.
