I know a lot of people think/know that Walmart's clothes are made in sweatshops. Well I learned something very interesting today in history.
We are learning about the Industrial Rev and sweatshops. Well I read an article my teacher handed out and it said the all of the clothes Disney produces are made in sweatshops. And the average worker would have to work about 14 years to make as much as a high Disney person(like along the lines of president......) makes in one hour. I thought that was interesting. And I know tons of you have Disney clothing. I wanted to share that not only Walmart clothes are made in sweatshops!
Hahaha yep. We gots 5. All huge supercenters. AND they're building a new one, AND a Target!
Idk why, I guess our town just loves WalMarts.
(Oh, did I mention my town is small and the population is only 80,000?)
Holy Shizznitts!
PS-I saw your siggy, and I know this is extremely late, but I'm sorry about your pet, which I'm assuming is a dog?![]()
It must be really hard eing the first holiday season without him/her.
We don't have any regular Walmarts around here.
It's all supercenters.
I've never been in a regular Walmart.

Trust me, I know about small towns (the town next to me has a population of 350). But most people think 80,000 is small.Small? Population only 80k?
My town (the one that I live in, anyway) has a Population of 3K.
The town next door has a Population of 5-6K. We have a Wal*Mart, a Lowe's, a Home Depot, a Shaw's, a Hannaford's, and outlet village (brand name stores at discout prices because it's "last year's" stuff), We've got one of almost every national fast-food restaurant/sit-down restaurant there is.
With 5 Wal*Marts, that's a breakdown of 16K people per store. That's a lot.

What's the difference of a supercenter and a regular Wal*Mart?
Is the supercenter just...bigger?
