**I'll probally get in trouble for this but I am VERY offended and need to be heard.***

We used to go to Walmart sometimes, but now we don't. They are too low class. sorry to sound like the downer, but its true. Everything is from China (which we don't buy made in china items) and is too sleezy.

I'm embarrassed to go. Its because I don't want to be in the same class of people that do go to Walmart.

well the people that go their, when you think about it, are mostly welfare type people.

I tottally agree here our family only goes in there if my dance tights rip the day of the competition(its happened 2 times) and i needed tight immediately and the dance store is closed other than that Wal-Mary is too low class me, my friends, there parents, and my parents all made of names for Wal Mart and Target our name for Wal-Mart is Crap Mart and our name for Target is Wonderful Mart

I'm not joking here i'm just telling you my opinons and just for your fyi i didnt mean all my friends I just meant that me and some friends and my BFF who lives in Illinois loves Wal Mart and its just extremely streotyped where i live one of my neighbors(i'm not lying) has a magnet on a white board in there garge which says Wal Mart a place for cheap plastic crap also another neighbor across the street from us who recently moved hate wal mart alot its just its streo typed where i live there are so many people who hate wal mart and from my experiences i do too and i think it would be imberressing to be found in wal mart but thats JMO

I am not a lower class person but I shop at Walmart. Why? Because I like the store and its affordable. I am far from poor but I am not swimming in $. I live in a one income family, I just moved, and we have bills to pay. We need food and clothes so we're going to go somewhere thats cheap. Just because we are in this situation WE ARE NOT LOW CLASS PEOPLE! ANd personally, I like Walmart clothes a lot better than AE or Aero, etc. Just because people shop there gives NEITHER OF YOU right to call them names. How would you like if I called you snobs or stuck up brats or something worse because you don't shop at Walmart? You dont like it. Do you? Its just how every Walmart shopper feels. And you may be saying oh no somebody else who hates me poor me blah blah blah. But you know what? I do hate you right now. And I am NOT afraid to admit it!!! You offended me and a bunch of other people on here with your comments. YOu seriously need to think before you start calling people low class or poor or something rude just because of where they shop. I thought at least you too would have enough character not to be so mean. And you can say sorry all you want! Its going to take a hell of a lot more than an Im sorry for us all to forgive you. I really dont care what happens now if mods see this post. You two just seriously need to understand that not everyone is "rich" like you two. Get that through your head!!! I'd love for you two to live in my shoes or other peoples shoes for a day. See how they feel. You guys need lifes! No wonder people hate you right now. Ok this is probably and hopefully the last thing I will have to say on here. (and if not I will just edit this post)
I'm sorry. The things I said were uncalled for and rude. I thought about everything and realized that not everyone thinks like I do. (I do have to remind myself about that a couple times) So here and now, I apologize for all my words. I would take them all back if I could and I hope the Teen Board will take my apology. If not, I totally understand. I will check back here in a few.

EDIT (something to add) : I took a perfectly good thread and ruined it, because I wasn't thinking. I don't seem to do a lot of that anymore. Just because someone shops at a certain place doesn't make them a bad person. Just makes them, well shop at a different place! Writing this I remembered the movie, "Pursuit of Happiness", he had nothing, but became a something. Just because someone may not shop at desiner this and that doesn't make them a bad person. Like when they were going to do uniforms at school. If everyone at school had uniforms then you would see more then just their outfit, you would see what makes them them. Isn't that what personalities are for? To make people different. (well also features, but..) I know what its like to not be liked sometimes because of being in this after school program or not shopping their or something or another. Not a very good feeling. Again I'm sorry for hurting anyone. If you want to talk to me PM instead please.

But I'm glad you made this post and applaud you for trying to make things right and saying sorry. I have been told saying sorry only gets you so far and I agree, but I feel that sorry is enough for me most of the time.

And usually I hold really big grudges but not today.

I just think its crap for someone to think they are better than everyone else and that they have the right to call people names just because of how they dress, where they shop, or much much money they have.

I don't know about you guys but I was personally very offended and hurt. Its hard enough not having expensive clothes or items but when the majority of people in your school has expensive stuff, it can be difficult. But then I always remember that I am lucky to have the stuff I have. Some people can't even afford Walmart. Sad but true.

I count my lucky stars everyday for everything I have.
Be it health insurance,clothes,food,or my own family.
I don't go to school anymore because of my disease,but I remember being looked down upon because I didn't wear Abercrombie or Hollister.
Oh get over it,just because I don't have as much $$$ as you and wear the same clothes you do doesn't make me any different then you.
And if you're going to base everything on someone's money,it really shows you're true colours.

Ok I want to say sorry Ive been thinking about it and Ive been a selfless jerk here who has been streotyping everyone here because of where they shop Ive realized that not everyone who shops at Wal Mart is low class and I should have never said these things thanks to you guys I have rethought what I said and I'm sorry that ive hurt everyones feelings over this and what I wrote was uncalled for Ive learned that just because me or my family thinks one thing not the whole world does. Ive also learned that I'm a jerk here on the teen boards and i'm going to try my best to change that around here so I can be thought as better. I should be thankful for what I got and not judge a person on where they shop and it doesnt mater if it Designer Clothes from Paris or clothes from the second hand store we are all people and we all have feelings and that is the way it is. Everyone comes on here if from a different class of family but we are all human and we do deserve to be treated the same way. If I could take back all of my self less post on here I would. I'm sorry that everyone hates me on here and I will try to be better and earn back everyones respect. I hope that the people who are really offended at me will take this apoligy and really I should have never said any of this. Angelindisguise, I accept your apology because I just don't think it's healthy to hold grudges. I was incredibly offended by what you said, and it went way past anything about Wal-Mart. I'm glad you've realized everyone has feelings whether they have money, or not.

Okay now, I hope we can all let this go and move on. =)

Personally i dont like wal*mart. I dont like the monopoly they have on the supermarket industry. In the UK we have laws to stop companies from getting too big. They can only take up a certain share of the market meaning that all companies get a chance to compete, even against the big guys.

I personally dont like the Wal*mart equivilant over here - ASDA, everytime ive been it has been disorganised and the people have been rude, but it really depends on the store. Plus there is no Asda close to where i live (at home or uni). At home my family shops at Waitrose, which is suggested as a 'higher class of supermarket' because it trys to portray that image. I personally work there so i have motive, but i love the way the people are always friendly, the shops are always clean and the uniforms are so ugly! (I hate them! ) We know it is a bit more expensive, but we are willing to pay that for a nice shopping experience and some amazing sandwichs! At Uni (due to severe lack of funds) i shop at Tesco. The main reason i don't like Tesco is that it is trying to take over the world, but it is the nicest, cheapest and cleanest store around so i wont really complain!

The whole 'PJ bottoms thing' has become quite a style over here, no one looks down on people for wearing their Trackies to the supermarket and if they do, then i would be worried about their own self confidence that they are so concerned over what other people are wearing and compairng themselves to others! People who do that need to grow up and realise that if you judge people only by appearance, you miss out on the niceness inside!

When we go to Florida we shop in Publix, cause we couldnt stand Wal*mart when we went. It doesn't have to be the nicest supermarket, it just needs to be clean and comprehensible!
