Can anyone tell me if they have used Wal-Mart Vision Centers? I was wondering if they are cheaper than other vision centers. It's time for my 45 year old re alignment, lol mrsdash:earseek:

I go there all the time. I really like it and think it is cheaper. I was able to get glasses, vision screening and contacts for the same price DH paid for just his glasses at another place. I do know that not everyone feels the customer service is great. I love our customer service, but I am sure it varies from store to store.

My boyfriend goes *excuse me WENT there, that has recently changed!* to Wal-Mart Vision center. Now call me a snob or worse, but I don't understand why in the world people would go to Wal-Mart for medical care. I know that in small towns there may not be another eye doctor. I'm sure that comment is going to get me flammed. But that's my personal opinion.

This vision center was ALWAYS packed with people! They take walk-ins, so there is always a ton of people waiting. Even if you make an appointment, it doesn't matter.

The reason why I MADE him stop going is because they don't accept his insurance there. So to me, I thought that was a waste of time and money! The eye doctor was fine, just the service like the above poster said was horrible.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my post. I just don't get it.
