Has anyone used Wal-mart for a deli tray? Due to current craziness (I'm 6mos pregnant, we're moving in less than 2 weeks, DH packing everything in the kitchen except the food and some paper plates 2 weeks ago, etc.), we are doing a deli tray, rolls, fruit, a salad, and chips/dip for DS's 2nd birthday. Not my typical plan, but it's what I can manage this year.
Wal-mart's tray is $20 cheaper than Lowe's Food, and $25 cheaper than Harris Teeter. I'm just trying to figure out if the quality is at all ok. We can pay $6 and upgrade to their "premium" tray, which I can see possibly being worth it, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort to try to call them. I haven't ever bought cold cuts from the deli there at all, so...
Any opinions? Definitely trying to keep this party on a budget with all the moving expenses coming up! I know we could do cheaper food, but without any kitchen supplies...This is what I can handle.
