Wake up calls

I remember the last time we stayed at CR that we coud get wake up calls from Mickey, Donald, Goofy and others.

Do they still have the character voices do wake up calls? I'm sure our grandson would be thrilled to have a call from Mickey or Goofy first thing in the morning.

The last few times we were there it was the same wake-up call from Mickey and Stich.

Just back 1/31/09 from POP. All week we just got music for our wake up call. I was disappointed.

Last month at the Poly we had 2 wake up calls. The first one was Hawaiian music with Mickey saying Wake Up. The second one was that nasty little Stitch!

I've gotten Mickey and Stitch, as well.

We tried to set it to an odd time... like 8:07 or something like that, but it sent us to a CM and we were told that we could only get a wake up call at increments of five. I noticed that it would come late, too... any time within the five minutes. So you might want to consider setting it five minutes before you want to wake up. Or set your phone alarm so you'll already be awake when Mickey calls. Be sure to hit speaker so that everyone can hear!

At BCV the wake up is Mickey and Stitch. I think different resorts have different callers/music.

I think it starts with music followed by stitch--- these was the case last week when we used wake up calls--- also, it was late so plan on getting it earlier than you want? like 5 min as a pp said

We had Mickey and Stitch at the CSR in September. After the second day, I started using my cell phone alarm--I can't stand that Stitch screaming in my ear.

Stitch is far from a character that I have a large amount of fondness for, so I think its just because it IS disney when he calls. After we get home, when my alarm goes off in the morning I always poke DH and make the Stitch laugh and say "have a magical day...". It keeps the Disney going at home.

Yes, still doing them as of 2008. Not crazy about Stitch waking me up (sounded demented), but still happy to get them. It's all part of the magic.
