Waived ROFR

I just found out Disney waived ROFR. Here are the details and timeline:

150 points at Boardwalk
all 150 2003 points points available and 36 banked from 2002
April use year
$69 per point / I pay closing & pro-rata Maintenance (based on approx Aug 1 closing date)

6/16 -- submitted offer / seller accepted (it was listed at $72)
6/25 -- submitted to Disney/closing company
7/21 -- ROFR waived by Disney

Based on some discussions on this board, it seemed like it took for ever for this one to pass by Disney.

When can we make reservations?
Does anyone think we'd have a chance to get in for 4 nights in a 2-br in October or did we miss that window of opportunity, based on the popularity of October?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Disney exercised ROFR on a contract we made an offer on about 1 month ago at $72.00 a point for BWV, all 2002 & 2003 pts. and 1/2 maintenance so I think you're VERY lucky!!!!

We're waiting to hear on another BWV resale contract and ours was submitted about the same time you did but we haven't heard anything. This is taking longer than the first contract. We should get it as we offered $73 point!

Was your contract through the Timeshare Store??? Did you receive word from them or by phone or mail?

You should be in the DVC computer within a week of your closing. As soon as you're listed in the system, you can make that reservation.

If you're flexible with your dates or resort, I'm sure you can find a 2BR in October to enjoy that first visit!
